The front mount is a single steel bar with
five mounting bolts. It's a common platform for attaching the front
renovator, front rake, track renovator, and powder board.
It uses an electric actuator to raise and
lower it and four white fiberglass rods for down force:
-
The electric actuator rotates a steel bar that has
two steel rods and four white fiberglass rods attached.
-
The rods are facing forward to raise and lower the
front mount in front of the Tidd Tech.
-
The steel rods carry the weight of the
front mount
when it is up.
-
The white fiberglass rods flex and apply down
force when the implement that is attached to the front mount is on the snow.
-
The loops on the end of the steel rods
move up and down the orange indicator rod as
down force is applied to the implement on the front mount.
There are four implements that attach to
the front mount.
