The Timm's Hill Trail is groomed for both classic and skate skiing.  It's groomed at minimum weekly and after each snowfall as necessary to ensure a quality skiing experience.

From the south end, the first 3 miles of the trail start out fairly flat and are great for beginners and families.  The next 7 miles get progressively hillier and offer more of a challenge for the intermediate to advanced skiers.

The Timm's Hill Trail connects the Camp Forest Springs Trails and Rib Lake Ski & Snowshoe Trails to the High Point Ski Trails, creating over 70km of connected trails, offering some of the finest cross-country skiing in the mid-west.

Snowshoeing, skijoring, and well behaved pets are welcome on the Timm's Hill Trail,

the Rib Lake Ski & Snowshoe Trails, and the High Point Ski Trails.

Changes to the High Point Ski Trails – December 2020

The following changes were made to the High Point Ski Trails in 2020.  All of these trails went thru wetlands that have been retaining more water in the winter.  In past years, there were many wet/icy spots on the trail.  In December 2019, we broke thru the ice and got stuck in the wetlands twice.

We are working to find new routes to reopen some of these trails.

  • The Park Loop has been cut in half to create the West Loop & the East Loop.

  • The Middle Loop has been shortened.

  • The Hwy To Heaven Loop has been eliminated.

The elimination of the “Hwy To Heaven” loop means you’ll have to ski DOWN the Hwy To Heaven hills.

To make this safer, we created a new trail to decent the hills.

The new trail is a series of big “S” curves that spread out the vertical drop and should be much safer to ski.

See the updated “Trail Map” for details.
