Mile 6

The Timm's Hill Trail passes thru a beautiful mature forest that has been in the possession of the Hultman family since the 1880ís when homesteaded by Magnus Hultman, a Swedish immigrant.  The trail crosses Hultman Bridge and Hultman Road, and enters "The Enchanted Forest".

The trail passes thru the Beaumont Sugar Bush, a stand of huge sugar maples that are tapped each year for maple syrup, and then follows the Old School Trail to Beaumont Bridge, which spans Helms Creek (a clear running stream that flows thru the middle of a large sedge meadow) at Mile Post #6.
